The HSS-E VAP hand tap set comprises 22 high-quality tools and covers thread sizes M3 to M12. It is ideal for demanding applications and is particularly impressive for wear-resistant steels up to 1400 N/mm², high-alloy, heat-resistant and stainless steels. Alloyed tool steels and grey cast iron can also be reliably machined with these taps. Thanks to the VAP coating, users benefit from improved adhesion of coolants and lubricants, which significantly reduces the tearing of the lubricating film and the formation of cold welds. In addition, a pre-cutter with guide pin ensures precise guidance and clean work results.
