Product Description:
This freezer from REMS is used for simple, quick freezing of pipes that have not been drained. One pipe freezer is sufficient for the entire working range up to 2". In addition, no reducing inserts are required. The cold transfer is only supported by spraying with water. This means that the freezing heads are always clean and no pastes or lubrication are required. It has a closed refrigerant circuit, is environmentally friendly and can be used anywhere, even in enclosed spaces. The design is robust and compact. The particularly narrow freezing heads and refrigerant hoses that run perpendicular to the pipe make it possible to work in tight spaces and niches. Freezing is possible on one or both sides. The refrigeration unit is also very quiet and has side ventilation grilles for optimum air circulation. There is also a large, easily accessible compartment at the top for refrigerant, hoses and accessories. The freezing heads are very compact with specially designed geometric recesses to accommodate different pipe diameters and are only 50 mm wide. All pipe sizes from Ø ¼ - 1" or Ø 15 - 35 mm can be frozen with just one freezing head. An LCD digital thermometer with clamping bracket also ensures an accurate temperature display directly at the freezing points.
