The DVR 450 battery-powered concrete compactor is used to compact freshly poured concrete and is characterised by the fact that it is particularly mobile and easy to handle thanks to its battery operation. The intelligently designed housing allows a wide range of gripping options to make work easier. The battery and switch are encapsulated to protect them from dust and dirt. This also extends the service life of the machine and the batteries used. The Makita BL 1840 B battery with 4 Ah impresses with maximised endurance at the same weight (compared to 3 Ah batteries). An additional advantage is the short charging time of just 36 minutes in the Makita charger. Thanks to low self-discharge and short-circuit, overvoltage and overheating protection, the battery has a maximum service life. The BL 1840 B also has an LED charge level indicator to check the remaining energy in the battery.
