The Makita DTW180 cordless impact wrench is equipped with a powerful brushless motor, which ensures greater endurance, a more compact design and a longer service life for the machine. Its compact design makes the impact wrench ideal for working in confined spaces and overhead. Xtreme Protection Technology ensures optimum protection against dust and splash water, even under harsh conditions. The impact housing is made of sturdy die-cast aluminium. The speed of the DTW180 can be electronically adjusted in 2 stages. The impact wrench is equipped with adjustable clockwise and counterclockwise rotation. The counterclockwise rotation has an auto-stop mode, which stops the rotation or impact movement 0.2 seconds after the screw or nut is completely loosened. One of the highlights of this impact wrench is its loosening torque of 310 Nm for loosening very tight or wedged screws and nuts. The built-in deep discharge protection automatically switches the device off when the battery is almost empty. The impact wrench has an integrated LED with afterglow function for working in poorly lit areas.
