Product Description:
The Makita DTW 1005 cordless impact wrench offers powerful features and innovative technologies for demanding applications. Equipped with a brushless motor that ensures a long service life and maintenance-free use, this tool delivers impressive performance. The DTW 1005 offers a maximum tightening torque of 1,360 Nm and a loosening torque of 1,700 Nm, making it ideal for loosening and tightening screws and nuts, even in recessed areas such as truck rear wheels. The 137 mm long 3/4" connection offers high compatibility and enables precise work, while the torque is up to 40% higher than the DTW 1001 as no additional extension is required. The cordless impact wrench has four forward modes and two reverse modes, which feature different speed controls and an auto-stop system. This variety of modes allows the tool to be adapted to different requirements, from initial tightening of large truck tyres to tightening at maximum speed. The auto-stop mode provides additional safety by automatically stopping reverse rotation as soon as the bolt or nut has been sufficiently loosened. XPT technology protects the tool from dust and water, ensuring reliable performance even under extreme conditions. For added comfort and visibility, the DTW 1005 is equipped with two LED lights that optimally illuminate the work area and an ergonomic, rubberised soft grip handle that ensures comfortable handling, especially during prolonged use. The electric brake contributes to productivity by stopping the work process quickly and safely. A wide hanging bracket provides practical storage, and the deep discharge protection automatically switches the device off when the battery is too low.
