The DMR 102 from Makita is a job site radio which impresses with its high sound quality and robust housing. The housing is equipped with a rubber carrying handle on the outer edges and all openings are dust- and dirt-proof and are also protected against splashing water (in accordance with IPX 4). In addition, a display with illumination allows manual or fully automatic station tuning. Station search and volume control are simplified by a rotary knob, which reduces the handling of this radio to a minimum. It features a 3.5 mm AUX connection for connecting an iPod or MP3 player, so you can listen to your favourite music at will. The radio can be operated with standard Makita batteries from 7.2 to 18 volts, either plugged in or clipped in, or from the mains with the supplied mains adapter.
