Product Description:
The Makita DGA511 is a powerful cordless angle grinder that is characterised by its brushless motor and adjustable speed for demanding, professional cutting and grinding work. This very handy tool is powered by an 18 V drive and can accommodate discs with a diameter of up to 125 mm. It is equipped with the advanced technologies AFT (Active Feedback Sensing Technology) and ADT (Automatic Torque Drive Technology). AFT stops the motor if the tool jams, while ADT automatically adjusts the speed during operation to always deliver optimum performance depending on the requirements of the job. In addition, the XPT (Extreme Protection Technology) offers optimum protection against dust and splash water, even under tough operating conditions. The angle grinder has a soft start and an electronically adjustable speed. An LED warning indicator informs the user of decreasing battery voltage and impending overload. The device is also equipped with deep discharge protection, which automatically switches the sander off as soon as the battery is almost empty.
