Product Description:

The Makita DDF 490 cordless drill driver offers the perfect combination of power, compactness and ease of use. Equipped with a brushless motor, this model delivers a maximum torque of 65 Nm, making it ideal for demanding drilling and screwdriving tasks. The mechanical 2-speed gearbox allows for precise speed adjustment, making it suitable for a wide range of applications in various materials. Stepless speed control via the trigger also ensures precise control during use. The cordless drill/driver is fitted with a quick-release chuck that allows for rapid bit changes, significantly speeding up the work process. Thanks to eXtreme Protection Technology (XPT), the DDF 490 is optimally protected against dust and water, ensuring it operates reliably even under extreme conditions. The forward/reverse switch has been positioned ergonomically and conveniently, making it easy to operate. An integrated LED light with pre- and post-illumination ensures that the work area is well lit even in poor lighting conditions, enabling precise work. The electric brake not only contributes to the user’s safety but also ensures a quick return to work, thereby maximising productivity. Furthermore, the DDF 490 is equipped with a battery protection system that automatically cuts off the power supply as soon as the battery level becomes too low, which extends the battery’s service life and prevents unexpected interruptions to work.
