Product description:

The DCE 090 from Makita is a cordless brushless disc cutter designed for heavy duty cutting applications. It is powered by two 18-volt (36 V) batteries, which are connected to each other and provide enormous power and a maximum cutting capacity of 88 mm. It has been specially developed for use with diamond discs. The water cooling hose runs inside the housing and is therefore protected against damage from the outside. Its brushless motor ensures greater endurance, longer life and a more compact design, which also helps to save the battery. An integrated LED ensures optimal visibility, even in poor lighting conditions. Its Active Feedback Sensing Technology, or AFT for short, protects the user in case the device gets stuck. Its Xtreme Protection Technology (XPT) offers optimum protection against dust and water splashes and thus protects the electronics even under extreme conditions. The soft start prevents a jerky movement when starting the machine and thus prevents the machine from becoming uncontrollable and possible injuries from cuts.
