The chipboard screw from Fischer is suitable for fixing supports in coated wood, hardwood, softwood and wooden constructions, etc., as well as for fixing metal parts to wood. It guarantees solid fixings in all types of wood and is also perfect for safely joining metal parts to wood. Power-Fast II is a screw with tested capacities in fischer plugs (like DUOPOWER and UX). Combined with the fischer plug, it is highly flexible and has a high load-bearing capacity. This screw is the ideal solution developed by Fischer for an impeccable surface finish with minimum damage to the metal. It features a three-groove screw tip that ensures fast etching and pre-milling. Once installed, chipboard screws have significantly reduced splitting behaviour compared with conventional screws. The Power-Fast II screw, with its high-performance anti-friction coating, reduces resistance to screwing and makes it easier to screw close to the edges of materials. The geometry of its lower head with optimised double cone and countersink pockets guarantees a precise, splinter-free surface finish, with no risk of splitting the wood and little damage to metal components. This screw guarantees a virtually flawless finish to your surfaces. Its increased-pitch thread considerably reduces screwing time, enabling ultra-fast assembly. Its milling grooves and the geometry of its core cutter considerably reduce resistance to screwing. This means you can do as much screwing as possible with greater autonomy and less effort. What's more, the new geometry of its core cutter allows precise milling and optimum removal of wood fibres, even close to the edges. Its white and blue passivated zinc coating contains no chromium VI, making it more environmentally friendly.
