The chipboard screw from Fischer is suitable not only for fastening supports in coated wood, hardwood, softwood, and timber connections etc., but also for fixing metal parts to wood. It ensures solid fixings in all types of wood and is also perfect for safely assembling metal parts to wood. The Power-Fast II made by Fischer are screws with recommended loads in the fischer plugs (E.g DUOPOWER and UX). Thank them, Fischer has succeeded in designing the ideal solution for a clean surface finish with less damage to the metal. The three ribs on the tip ensure rapid fixing and pre-drilling. They also offer a much reduced splitting behavior in comparison with standard screws. The Power-Fast II FPF II with high-performance wax coating reduces the screw-in torque and eases smooth screw fastening close to the edge. The bottom head geometry with double cone and milling pockets minimizes surface damage, thus ensuring a better look and comfortable surfaces at feel. The thread pitch significantly reduces the installation time and enables fast applications. Its shank-miller and the core-miller geometry cutter considerably reduce the installation torque. This means you can do as much screwing as possible with greater autonomy and less labour. In addition, the new cutter geometry guarantees precise, splinter-free milling, with no risk of splitting the wood, even at small edge distances and with metal fittings. The blue passivated zinc plating does not contain chrome VI and is therefore very environmentally friendly. The new Power-Fast II FPF II with its unique screw geometry combines the highest technical know-how with excellent design. They are the ideal screws for fast and flexible assembly processing.
