Whether wood or insulating materials, the UNIVERS SSU 200 centreboard saw cuts all common materials in timber construction up to 200 mm thick. Thanks to the guide rail, straight, tear-free cross-cuts, rip cuts, mitre cuts and rip cuts can be made with ease. The special feature: the UNIVERS weighs just 6.5 kg - for fatigue-free working. The blade saw works with precise cuts through the integrated guide groove in the die-cast aluminium table for use with the guide rail. It is versatile and can be used for mitre cuts of up to 60°. The chain can be changed and tensioned without tools. The SSU 200 EB-Plus includes swivelling suction sockets for connecting a vacuum cleaner (e.g. CT 48, CT 36), as well as a pulling cut for fast, jerk-free work and the best cutting quality. The high-quality power electronics ensure constant power when sawing and the different chain sets ensure the best cut in wood and insulating materials. Included with the SSU 200 EB-Plus circular saw is 1x Festool FS 800/2 guide bar 800 mm for hand-held and plunge-cut saws. The FS 800/2 is an 800 mm long guide rail from Festool that is suitable for hand-held and plunge-cut circular saws. The guide jaws of the plunge-cut circular saws can be adjusted without tools, ensuring backlash-free guidance. A rubber lip directly on the scribe prevents the edges from tearing out, even when making angled cuts. Angles can be easily transferred from the workpiece or wall using a combination jig for the guide rail, and there is a guide stop for routers for precise grooves. The rail allows the machine to be guided safely and straight as a die. Thanks to an adhesive pad, the rail can be easily positioned on smooth materials and also protects the workpiece surface from damage. A sliding surface on the rail makes it easier to run the machine.
