The MB 40 mobile drilling attachment is the perfect companion for anyone who needs to drill precise holes in their work. As a compact drilling aid, it enables you to drill at right angles, with pinpoint accuracy and repeatability – whether you’re working in wood, metal or plastic. With its precise depth adjustment and versatile stops, vertical holes, end-face holes and rows of holes can be drilled with ease. The integrated extraction system, which can be connected directly to the base plate, ensures an optimal view of the drilling site. With its precise depth adjustment (featuring a zero setting and a readable drilling depth of up to 50 mm), the MB 40 offers precise control of the drilling depth. The display in mm and inches ensures maximum accuracy. The rip fence and the end-face drilling stop (PA-MB 40) allow for precise and repeatable drilling along panel edges, whilst the FSA-MB 40 guide rail adapter enables drilling in long and wide workpieces. A unique hole pattern function also enables precise drilling in the 32-hole system. The MB 40’s tool chuck can be fitted quickly and without tools. The CENTROTEC chuck enables quick tool changes for drilling tools. The integrated chip extraction system ensures that the work area remains dust-free and is compatible with vacuum cleaners from dust class M upwards and with a hose diameter of D 27. The markings on the base plate allow for easy positioning and precise alignment on the workpiece. Thanks to the rubberised base, the drilling attachment remains stable and does not slip, even during demanding applications. The MB 40 mobile drilling jig is perfect for a wide range of applications, including drilling at 90°, creating short rows of holes in System 32, drilling fittings such as pot hinges, shelf bracket supports and, of course, for assembly work in kitchen and furniture construction. It is packed particularly practically and compactly in a Systainer³, which makes storage and transport easy.
