Product Description:
The Festool ETS EC 150/5 EQ-Plus is the perfect random orbital sander for intermediate sanding. The ergonomic design and compact construction (1.2 kg weight) allow long working days without any significant signs of fatigue. Even overhead sanding work poses no challenge, and you also have a very good feeling when sanding, even when working on edges. The perfectly balanced centre of gravity, the overall height of just 116 mm and the powerful brushless EC-TEC motor are the hallmarks of this random orbital sander. Festool also thinks about the user's health, with automatic dust extraction detection, an integrated disc brake and the unique Vibration Control System. The infinitely variable speed preselection keeps the previously set value constant even under load. A high surface quality is guaranteed by the 5 mm sanding stroke. The sander specialises in coarse and intermediate sanding work. In order to guarantee good results, the robust carbide-tipped disc brake prevents the sanding disc from spinning up uncontrollably when idling and thus enables the tool to be set down quickly and without scoring. The on/off switch is deliberately positioned at the head of the device to minimise accidental switching on or off. The main areas of application include Intermediate and coarse sanding of paints and fillers, surfaces and curves as well as final sanding of fillers.
