Product Description:
The Festool DFC 500 E-Basic cordless dowel cutter is the perfect solution for precise, stable and versatile wood joints. Part of the innovative DOMINO jointing system, this cordless dowel router enables the routing of precise, torsion-proof slotted holes using the unique pendulum routing principle. This system combines the stability of traditional mortise and tenon joints with the flexibility of flat dowels, so that both delicate and solid workpieces can be joined indoors and outdoors without any problems. Particularly noteworthy is the 100% mobility of the cordless version, which enables cordless use both in the workshop and on the construction site. The ergonomic spade handle ensures fatigue-free working, even during long periods of use. Integrated stop pins make it easier to position the dowels repeatedly and precisely, further increasing efficiency at work. The DOMINO dowels are available in various sizes from 4 x 20 mm to 10 x 50 mm and are perfectly matched to the routing depths, which are optimised for the dowel lengths and panel materials. The stable and torsion-resistant connections achieved by the special shape of the DOMINO dowels guarantee high quality and durability. The system is extremely versatile and supports various applications such as frame and rack joints in solid wood, panel joints in different materials as well as the production of stable mitre joints and detachable corner joints. In addition, the round stop enables precise round profile connections, and the DOMINO carcase and furniture connectors can be used to create stable, detachable furniture constructions.
