The Festool auger bit D 8 is compatible with the TPC 18/4 and TDC 18/4 impact drill drivers as well as with all Festool C and T cordless drill drivers with FastFix holder (except CXS/TXS). The drill is suitable for deep blind holes and through-holes in soft and hard wood with a diameter of 8 mm and a depth of up to 165 mm. Thanks to the CENTROTEC interface, rafters and beams can be precisely machined and the drill bits can be changed quickly. The corrosion resistance and low friction achieved by a special coating should be emphasised. In addition, an optimised thread ensures ideal chip removal and the robust threaded tip enables precise positioning of the auger bit and pulls it into the wood. This means that you can work with little fatigue and achieve fast progress with precise drilling results. The auger bit is very durable as it can be resharpened up to 15 times.
