The DeWalt DCW 604 NT cordless combi router belongs to the latest generation of powerful cordless combi routers. It is characterised by maximum precision, efficiency and reliability. The innovative, brushless motor technology ensures more efficient utilisation of the battery capacity and increases the running time and durability of the device. The powerful motor has full-shaft electronics, constant speed control and electronic speed regulation for material-specific work and a perfect milling pattern. The combination technology allows the device to be used as a fully-fledged router or as an edge router. The motor block can be quickly and easily converted for this purpose. The motor brake guarantees more control by stopping the router immediately when it is switched off. The bright double LED ensures better visibility and precision when working. The rubberised handles ensure a comfortable, secure grip and the ergonomically rubberised grip area of the edge router housing ensures precise machine guidance. It also has a robust and compact aluminium motor housing with a very low weight and long service life. The DeWalt cordless combination router has a precision collet chuck, which guarantees a better fit even with a larger clamping surface. The router module has a routing depth stop with a 5-stage presetting, which can be very finely adjusted using a 1/10 mm graduation scale, and a dust-protected 2-column router basket guide, which ensures precise plunging of the machine. Cleanliness is always guaranteed thanks to the replaceable sliding soleplate for clean guidance of the milling cutter and prevention of surface damage to the workpiece being processed. For the same purpose, the device also has a milling module-specific extraction device with adapter for efficient dust extraction. The edge routing module has a precise screw mechanism for exact routing depth adjustment and a transparent acrylic base plate with overhang, which enables exact guidance during edge routing work.
